Rouge de Cœur Chèvre Bifold
The leather is chèvre — French goatskin. Tight pebble, fine grain, a little dry to the hand in the best way. The color is Rouge de Cœur. Heart red. Not burgundy. Not orange. Red.
I cut and stitched this as a simple bifold and left it alone. Matching red thread. Dark burnished edges. Chevron card slots, three to a side, cash through the middle. Slim in the pocket.
Goatskin shows stitch and edge work. That is why I used it. No exotic story on this one. Just a loud hide, a quiet pattern, made by hand in Florida.
